What we keep, and why.
This page is about asking for an DatoMark account on this website. It's short because there isn't much.
What we keep
When you ask for an account we keep the name and email address you give us, the line about your work you choose, and the note you write if you write one. We also keep a scrambled version of the address your request came from, which is only used to stop one person sending hundreds of requests, and the date. That's all. We never see your drawings, and the form can't send them.
Why
To decide whether to let you in, and to tell you when we have. We don't sell it, share it for advertising or use it for anything else. This website sets no cookies and has no trackers or analytics.
How long
A request nobody has answered is deleted after 90 days. A declined one is deleted after 30. If you're let in, your details become your DatoMark profile, which has its own settings inside the program.
Who looks after it
The person running the DatoMark trial. A business name and a contact address will be shown here before the trial opens to the public. The page and the request box are hosted by Cloudflare, who handle the data for us and don't use it for their own purposes.
Taking your request back
You can have your request deleted at any time, without writing to anybody: on the account page, give the email address you used and press Delete my request. It's removed straight away.
Your other rights
You have the right to see, correct and delete what we hold about you, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Until the contact address above is published, the delete button is the way to act on that.
