My work has gone

Where it usually is, and how to get it back.

Don’t start measuring again yet: it’s very often still there.

  1. Open the same drawing again in the same browser and the same address. If earlier work is on this computer, Earlier work found appears. Choose Restore.
  2. Check the address. The page at …pages.dev, a local copy and a different browser each keep their own work. Open the one you were using.
  3. Look for a save point or a project file (.datomark) you made, and open it with File › Open project….
  4. Check the Action log (Ctrl+Shift+H) if you think something was undone or deleted: it lists every step and you can go back.
