My settings keep resetting

Settings are kept per web address and per browser. Almost always you’re somewhere different.

Settings are saved on this computer, in this browser, for the web address you’re on. If you open the program from a different address, a different browser profile or a private window, you’re looking at a different, empty set.

  • Use the same address and browser each time. Bookmark it.
  • Avoid private or incognito windows, which forget everything when they close.
  • If your browser is set to clear site data when it closes, add this address as an exception.

Settings has a section that tells you whether the browser has agreed to keep things, and warns you if it won’t.

Try it on a real drawing

DatoMark runs in your browser, and your drawing stays on your device.
