Why you would use it
A drawing register is kept by hand on almost every job, and is wrong by the second revision. The information is already on the sheets; this reads it, and checks the set as a whole, which no single sheet can: two sheets with one number, or a sheet with none.

What to do
- Choose Add PDFs, or Add the open drawings.
- Read the flags in the Check column. If sheets didn’t read well, choose Scan sheets that didn’t read (a few seconds a sheet).
- Type over any value that’s wrong; it’s marked as edited.
- Export CSV.
Going further
The files are read in this browser and aren’t uploaded; each is opened only long enough to be read. Values come from the sheets: the file name is shown as a flag when it disagrees and is never used to fill in a blank. A sheet whose title block is a picture with a text layer made by recognition is read by the patterns of its values and says so in the Read by column. Template text such as “Unnamed” isn’t listed as a title. Scanning reads the sheets that didn’t read by text recognition on this computer: one sheet at a time, it can be stopped between sheets, rows you have typed over are never touched, and scanned rows say so in the Read by column; recognition can slip on small print, so check them.
