Look It Up
Paste in place
Puts a copy at the exact coordinates it was copied from. This is how markup moves between revisions of one drawing: cloud an opening on P03, open P04, paste in place, and the cloud is over the same detail. If the page is a different size, you’re asked before anything happens.

Why you would use it
For moving markup between revisions of the same drawing, where the position IS the information.
For example
What to do
- Copy the markup on the old revision.
- Open the new one.
- Choose Paste in place, or press Ctrl+Shift+V.
Going further
If the destination page is a different size and the exact position would fall off the paper, you’re asked first: keep the exact position, or move it on so you can see it.
