Look It Up
Arranging the pages
Put the pages in the order you want them, take out the ones you don’t need, and turn the ones that came in sideways.

Why you would use it
A score downloaded with the repeats in the wrong order, a drawing set that needs assembling for issue, an addendum that belongs after sheet four: the file is rarely in the order you want to work in.
For example
What to do
- Pages panel, or the command palette.
- Move a page earlier or later, or take it out.
- Export when the set is right.
Going further
THE FILE ON DISK IS NEVER REWRITTEN — the arrangement is yours, like turning or trimming a page, and it becomes real only when you export. A page taken out is HIDDEN, not deleted: everything you marked on it’s still on it and comes back with it. And because the arrangement is a list of the file's own page numbers, a mark on page 7 stays on page 7 wherever you move page 7 to; nothing attached to a page is ever renumbered, so a measurement can never quietly end up on the wrong sheet.
