Why you would use it
Coming back to the detail you were reading five minutes ago is most of navigating a long document, and it’s the one place no ready-made contents list can help with.
For example
What to do
- Look at the thing you want to come back to.
- Press Ctrl+B, or use the button under the Contents list.
- Give it a name.
Going further
A mark remembers the page, the spot and the magnification, and is saved with the project — but it isn’t markup: it’s never drawn on the drawing, never printed, never exported, and carries no quantity. Marks are bound to the sheet rather than to its position, so rearranging the set leaves every one of them pointing at the same drawing.
