Look It Up
Your ways of measuring
A take-off group set up the way you like it — its kind, pitch, waste, colour and reference code — saved once and available on every job after that.

Why you would use it
Standing seam is the same recipe on every roof you price. Typing it out again on each new drawing isn’t work, it’s transcription, and every retype is a chance to put 10% where 12% belongs. This is the thing estimators complain about most in every other take-off tool.
For example
What to do
- Set a group up the way you want it.
- Take-off panel › Library › Save it.
- On the next drawing, Library › pick it.
Going further
What’s SAVED IS HOW, NEVER HOW MUCH. A saved recipe carries no measurements, no totals, no page and no drawing, so applying one gives you an empty group waiting to be measured into — a figure from one building can never appear in the bill for another. It’s kept on this device beside your settings and goes nowhere near a server; sharing a set with the rest of a firm is a file you save and send deliberately. Saving under a name you already have replaces it, and importing someone else's set never overwrites an allowance you have tuned.
