Why you would use it

For example

What to do

  1. Click what the note is about.
  2. Click each bend.
  3. Right-click, double-click or press Enter where the words should go.
  4. Type the words.

Going further

Any callout can be bent afterwards: select it and drag the small circle in the middle of its leader. Drag a bend back onto the line to take it out. Hold Ctrl (Option on a Mac) to land a point beside the nearest text.

In a PDF markup program: A callout with a bent leader.
