Look It Up

Why you would use it
The same few things are drawn again and again: the red query cloud, the green approved line, the verge flashing measured the same way on every job. A Toolbox keeps them one click away, so each is the same every time, whoever draws it.
For example
What to do
- Open it from View, or press Ctrl+Shift+B.
- Pick a set, or type to search every set.
- Click a tool. A look draws the next one in that look; a mark follows the pointer to be placed; words go in the next note's box; a way of measuring starts measuring into its group.
- To keep something, select it and use Add…, or right-click it and choose Add to the Toolbox.
Going further
Sets are yours: starter sets are only examples, and putting them back never replaces anything you made. A way of measuring carries how, never how much (no measurements, no totals). Export saves a set as one plain file to back it up or send to a colleague; Import adds the sets in a file without changing what you have. Nothing leaves this computer unless you send the file.
If you already use another program
In a CAD program: Tool palettes: saved tools you click to use.
In a PDF markup program: A tool chest or favourites: saved looks and marks, kept in sets you can switch between.
